I love this sort of emulation setup! It's a mini PC (Blackview MP200) WITH an emulation hard drive (Hyper Base Mix). It's like the perfect combo for a simple beginner emulation setup, and it has the GUTS to run LOTS of STUFF.

BUY THE BLACKVIEW MP200:

Great video. Mini pc's are getting better, and have more and more capacity to run more demanding games. It is worth mentioning that some models also have the ability to run the system from an SD card. This option is also very useful for people who want to run Batocera or some Linux distribution without breaking the factory system, etc.

A day without a TechDweeb video is like a day when you wake up and you have this little pain behind your eye and you think about calling your boss and telling her you aren't going to make it in to work and then you reconsider because you're planning on calling out sick next Tuesday because that is $2 admission day at Last Level and you really want to get the house record for Pac-Man even though Frenchie already has it and he's really good and you probably won't beat it and Frenchie is me. Exactly like that.

Just put the finishing touches on a 1Tb RetroBat build for a friend's mini pc. He said he wanted it for his kids, but we know differently.

Thanks @TechDweeb, after years of not having a gaming pc you've inspired me to put in a purchase of a mini pc/emulation drive combo. Hope the setup goes smoothly and I'm on my gaming way!! 😊

Your videos are truly the highlight of my week. Quickly became my favorite content creator on this platform. I hope you continue to do videos on budget devices like the RG35XX and how to get the most out of these. There seems to be a sweet spot in retro emulation at about $60 to $70 devices.

Hey dweeb, love your videos! I know this is going to sound cliche but your videos are helping me through a very tough depression. Which controller are you using in this bideo? With the RGB lights and all? It looks sick!!!

Irony presents itself. I asked how this could be done a few videos ago and here we are. Thanks!

I have never tried out a mini pc before, I chose to purchase a Beelink SER5 MAX. I'm personally excited for when it arrives, I'm planning on installing FL Studio to test out how much of a difference it's 32GB of ram will sound compared to my Desktop which only has 16GB of ram.

Love the video! Any plans to make a video on how to adjust launchbox settings to help games run? I have this drive but gamecube and ps3 games don't work (I have a AMD Ryzen 7 6800H mini PC). I watched this video and saw your screen making adjustments to make the games run but I don't know how you did it. Yes I am old and new to the world of emulation gaming 🤣

You have so many systems, you should check out some custom-ish mechanical keyboards to use with them! The budget space (45-100) is going crazy right now, there's so many options that are just absolutely incredible, lightyears nicer than that grey/orange board you have or 99% of other mass-market options available in the past. It's a big rabbit-hole, but I can easily help you pick out one or two to try that you'll be really impressed with as they sound and feel incredible, and most options have 2.4ghzdongle + bluetooth wireless so they'll work with any of these mini pcs or android-based handhelds/phones/tablets and such.

You're the deadbeat tech dad who goes out for cigarettes and milk and then doesn't come back for years. Still love you deadbeat tech dad!

Hey Tec D dad, great video been at a new job, new hours and such so I don't have as much time for you tube but besides a handful of other stations I always make sure I'm up to date with you on my days off, your great man especially for us peeps that really came from the Atari home console, I mean I played the Atari more than the NES, the first one oh my, 😅😮
Yeah I payed the money and got the China or Japanese version as I thought the little robot on it was cool, still got it as a matter of fact and it works, not the best obviously but you could game on it if I let people. Long story short, you bring back my childhood with every emulation video, and I just want to say thanks from Me and all your Tec D kids 😂🎉😂😊 lol
