"The mind is very restless, turbulent, strong and obstinate, O Krishna. It appears to me that it is more difficult to control than the wind" - Bhagavad Gita (6.34)
"Lord Krishna said: O mighty-armed son of Kunti, what you say is correct; the mind is indeed very difficult to restrain. But by practice and detachment, it can be controlled" - Bhagavad Gita (6.35)

Inspired by these verses, Swami Sarvapriyananda provides invaluable guidance on improving our meditation.

What a brilliant mind and beautiful soul. Swamiji is a natural teacher and communicator. I love the way he simplifies the subjects with everyday examples and anecdotes. Swamiji then is considerate enough to summarize for us what he has spoken so that we can better remember what we need to do. May God continue to bless him. Om Tat Sat!

I have been following Swami Sarvapriyananda for years starting with his first lectures at the Vedanta Society of Southern California, and his expositions just keep getting better and better. - and he started from a very high benchmark! In this talk he cuts through so much, with such incisive, insightful analysis, bringing it together with such focus, clarity and lucidity. And so simply. 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼 What a blessing our SwamiJi is. I feel privileged to just hear him. His teaching is illuminated.

Beloved Swami, I recall a mention by you of an initiate lamenting that there are no great figures these days, like Vivekananda and Ramakrishna. Anyone in doubt need only find your YouTube videos. "Great figure" -- you are that! Thank you so very, very much.

Imo, this is his best satsang, he brings all the vrittis and gunas together to clarify how to subdue the mind, everything exists in Brahman yet the realization requires repetition, devotion and especially Insight

This learning is like being a firewood in the fire of enlightenment. It takes time to burn until nothing remains - neither the fire nor the wood.
