I just got one of these, I'm also using a 24" monitor on a tall floor stand the sits just between my legs or to the side when I'm sitting, it's kinda feels like a hybrid between desk and couch setup, I like it

am doing it for a very long time I have always had a very long HDMI cable connected to my tv. Pc is just a game console when connected to the tv. use wireless controller too.
