It worked on my Note 8. I had a small rounded circle (more like 1/4 of a small circle) on the right corner of the display. At first it didn’t seem any improvement was being made but an hour later the dead pixel area was SLOWLY shrinking. So it does work albeit VERY VERY VERY SLOWLY. Also remember to set the brightness on high as possible and let it do it’s magic. Patience is the key. Mind you it might or might not work, depending on the severity of the problem. I can assure that this actually works for most cases. I've already fixed three screens with "dead" pixels using a similar app. No magic involved here; there's a technical explanation on how and why this works and it won't even hurt trying it before you consider to spend megabucks on a new screen.
