Great idea, but who is this Joe that you were talking about, sounds like he will have a very busy year!. Great intro for the Group Build Simon, I am really looking forward to seeing all the brilliant entries and fantastic ideas that people come up with.

If I can find all the parts of the BA-20 with rail wheels. Guess I'm going to have to reactivate my YouTube account .... Sigh
For anyone who wants a bit of movie reference, I strongly recommend the movie "The Train". It's producers tried very hard to make it as accurate as they could and you can see a real armored train in the rail yard. Aside from that, it's a really good movie, too. French Resistance fighters trying to stop a train full of art treasures from going to Germany. Burt Lancaster stars along with a host of other stars or stars to be. I think WWII Metal Detecting just ran a video showing armored trains. You might not care a lot for what they dig up but the period films are often ones I've never seen before. Also, the recovery of lost WWII armour is always great to see. In fact, I'm going to build one they recovered from a big in an upcoming Group Build. You will be amazed by how they come out once clean. In fact a Stug G rolled out on its own, wheels and track turning ! One other thing is I've found out colors of mortar rounds and other ordnance.
