I think Light No Fire is the game I’m most excited about this year because of what is possible in a sandbox like that. And hoping it’s the literal size of Earth.

People have started to jokingly refer to Light No Fire as "No Man's Skyrim".

Yes they are intending to use the tech to make a planet sized game the size of the actual earth. So instead of different planet types there will be different biomes on the same planet. Pretty cool to see what they do with the generative tech they have now.

I honestly just found out about this few days ago and just few weeks into noan sky and I'm loving it so much and honestly this this is going to be my nxt big game. It looks so beautiful and dragons and whole lot of DND things I can go crazy for. Hope they won't have a bad launch like no man sky but will still be buy this one for sure 😍

When I swa this trailer a while back I figured it would be some jrpg. I didn't forgot this was the No Man's Sky. Now I'm actually really exccited and will have to keep an eye on this game. Boats, Building... and rideable dragons! I'm totally down.

There's a crazy theory at the Spanish speaking NMS community (which I belong to), not based on anything more than wild guesses: 1) what if a future NMS update transforms everything on LNF? 2) NMS' lore talks about several other races that disappeared, leaving only Korvax, Geks and Vy'keens. Could be LNF 'located' at NMS past? Finally, LNF trailer have music from a great band that I highly recommend: Alt-J. Song's called 'Hunger of the Pine'. Personally, I think at least we are going to have a release date (and obviously another trailer) on this year. Your channel is great, as usual.

Looks very good but it leaves me with more questions than answers this game so far 😂 I wonder how building PVE/PvP will work alongside other players or how persistent it all is and things like that

I thought I get my last achievement today, that I have not done in NMS yet... And now I remember way I never did it. Extreme Survival is so boring!!!! You have to stand still or walk around on a extreme weather planet for for 43200 in game minutes. It's roughly 43200 seconds IRL. That ads up to 12 hours. It's really hard to get this naturally too as you don't run into extreme weather planets that often. I really hope they don't have any of those stupid achievements in Light No Fire.

if the planet size of Light No Fire is about earth size (which is what Sean Murray said) this would be roughly 20.000 times bigger than the biggest planet in No Man's Sky. Nevertheless, I really wonder how LNF handles this because i suggest that the players will most likely spawn in a new and unexplored location like in No Man's Sky. Even if LNF is announced as a multiplayer focused game, i think that there will be quests and storylines to complete, which may be similar to NMS in terms of little tutorials on how to craft, explore and build. That would mean that there will be procedural generated locations all across the planet, which are all the same in terms of what their functions are for each player.

Also multiplayer in general concerns me a little bit, since it's more of less broken in No Man's Sky for years now. It basically works, but there are a ton of bugs you come across when playing multiplayer.

There are rumors and speculations that the Light No Fire lore may be connected to No Man's Sky in one way or another. So i hope the storyline and lore of the game will be interesting enough to follow apart from all the surviving and exploring elements.

I'm excited for this game and really hope to see a variety of biomes across the planet, with different resources in different places. I am looking forward to some great storylines...Hello Games is really good at that!

And they are definitely doing first person if only because of all the time and money they have put into VR tech for No Mans Sky. It’s a huge part of their development pipeline since the very beginning with Psvr1.
