Thank you for just getting right to it and showing the tool. I hate hearing people talk for 15 minutes and seeing 2 minutes of video lol. Nice job!

Nice video. Did you have any issues with the alignment of the blade? I see that plagues higher end brands - that the biscuits are not level and thus throws off the joints.

The biscuits add minimal strength . The main reason to use them is for alignment. All you need is glue which is stronger than the biscuits. But the biscuits do help the top align and be level.

i’ll be honest i’ve worked in a Production shop and used Lamello, PC, Dewalt Biscuit Jointers and for my Personalmprojects / Home Shop things i’m fine with The HF one i also don’t mind using my Router equipped withBearing Bits when doing a lot of Jointing with Biscuits in low Production numbers it almost gives me more of a traditional Joinery Feel Similiar to Doweling ? i like the smell of Wood and Sawdust in my Shop ! Call me weird but for years i kept a block ofCedar under the seat in my Work Truck and every so often i slice aBlades width off of it to freshen up the Truck worked better han the Cardboard Pine Trees IMO

Did everything line up? Where the boards flat and square to each other?

I have this biscuit joiner and the biscuits fit way too tight. I even tried to dry the biscuits in the microwave to shrink them, but it didn't help. I'm not sure if HF biscuits are too big or the HF joiner hole is too small.

Looks identical to the Wen joiner, likely came out of the same factory. Maybe I got a bad unit but the Wen Joiner was a a total piece of garbage. Thanks for posting this, now I know to avoid the horrible freight version.
