It's that time of the year to remind everyone planting to not forget the mulch. In the west after such a long hot 2024 summer, we all should be prepared ahead of time with a generous application of mulch to the surface of your fruit tree plantings 3 to 4 inches deep and 3 feet outside of the canopy of the tree. This keeps the roots cool in the hot summer, cuts down on evaporation, thereby extending the time between watering and breaks down to provide nutrient to the plant.........oh yea and helps with weeds.......makes them easy to pull.

Never tried the Soil Conditioner, but the GroMulch is one of my favorite mulches to use. I get great results from it and usually during march they have a deal at my local nursery. I think it's buy 2 get 1 free.
