I just recently learned how to use Clip Studio Paint and these new feature would help me greatly. I'm especially excited for the hand camera. I hope they'll be able to capture the whole body in camera for future versions!

Great video. I am amazed by the hand video capture. That is crazy. Not something I would use often, but still. Love the new mixing paint, as I am also a traditional artist and that will really translate between digital and traditional much easier for me. But the break out that totally blew my mind is the shading tool. Holy paint buckets! That could be a HUGE timesaver. I tend to work a lot of colors into my shadows anyhow, but to have this baseline in a couple of clicks... .NUTS!

Love Clip Studio. Been my go to for the last 10 years.

Thanks for the more in-depth explanation. I love csp, but I find that while their updates are very good theyvdont really take the time to go over each one, so i end up just never really understanding whats going on, lol

I literally just opened back up clip studio paint after almost 8 months to a year of not touching it on my Wacom Studio Pro. Just haven't had the flame to draw and had a piece waiting on me to finish. This shading assist is a huge game changer. Literally apply shadows and highlights for you and after some fine tuning and cleaning up you have what you want. Literally struggle with my shadows and highlights for my work, but with this I feel I can gain more confidence with that and work to get stronger in that department.

i can't wait to see if they start to add more for the animation side of Clip studio cause it needs a few quality of life improvements.... also yes finally i can't wait to start using the shading assist my brain was terrible at judging the proper areas to much thinking.

I had a commission that required me to use the align tool and it was due last week. I had to do it in Illustrator. I’m slightly angry but this is very pleasant news. I’m very very happy.

Definitely, the one I like the most was the one with the shadows, it is an advantage for me when creating a comic
