Your Record Player Needs This!

Apologies for the thoroughly clickbaity title!
To get the best from your turntable you have to make sure it's setup correctly (I have a handy 3 part guide for that!)

But all of that will be useless if you're treasured Project, rega, linn or Audio technica isn't level. Whether you're a turntable beginner or been into the hobby for years this video will explain why this can be an issue and how to fix it. It's really, simple, really easy and will help you get the best performance from your record player and its cartridge!

The apps for the iPhone work great for this. It's important to have a level player, but I don't think it's going to cause catastrophic side effects if slightly askew.

Yes....before doing ANYTHING with your turntable after taking it out of the box, the first order of business is leveling it.

Josh, new subscriber here...hello :) I've been watching a lot of your videos today and found them entertaining. It would be nice if you could do some videos on: MM vs MC cartridges, bell wire vs branded cables, bi-wiring, bi-amping, interconnects, vinyl cleaning, mid/high end gear,  brand new budget components vs second hand components etc etc. Maybe you could promote some British brands on occasion too?

IMO you should take off the mat from the platter to be more accurate.
