Morning prayer is a struggle for many trying to deepen in the Catholic spiritual life. What is the solution? Here is the morning pray video we referenced which could be used for both vocal prayer and mental prayer.

Asking my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ for prayers for my 91 year old father, James. His journey to our Lord is now imminent. He and my mother are, and always have been, devout Roman Catholics and they gave me the greatest gift, the faith of the Church. As a beautiful vocalist, he devoted a large part of his life leading the choirs, putting on the Passion plays and Midnight Mass music. In his later years he served as head usher. He and my mother spent their lives serving the Church and setting a beautiful example of what it means to be a Catholic to me and my family. May he know the eternal joys of celebrating the eternal Mass in the presence of the Sacred Heart of our Lord and the Immaculate Heart of our Blessed Mother. I also love the morning! I take a half hour walk and pray. My husband is still asleep, and it's my one time of peace and quiet!

This is wonderful and perfect timing! I always struggle with taking the time out for prayer in the morning as I'm conscious of having a small window in my days when I'll have energy and resources to do housework and as a result I just want to get going the minute I'm dressed and ready. This is so counterproductive though because no matter how little I might achieve in a day if I haven't first offered it up to God and asked for all my actions to be washed in Christ's blood nothing I do has any real value that day. When I go to bed I surrender my day and my sleep to the Holy Trinity and the Holy Family and even though my sleep is short or disturbed when I wake up I am fresh, and I praise and thank God as soon as the alarm goes off. I am still struggling with mental prayers as I get distracted pretty soon so I am thankful to both of you Ken and Janelle for this prayer video.

I DON'T struggle with morning prayer and this was still extremely helpful! I get up very early to spend the quiet time with God.

Since you're asking, I really do hope you make a morning prayer video every month. This is the third morning since I've started praying along to your video as part of my morning routine, and it has already had a significant impact on my life. I've gone from barely praying at all, to beginning my day with prayer every morning. Thank you for doing what you do.

I am learning to use mental prayer and it has enriched my prayer life. I imagine the stations of the cross and what Jesus endured. I learn to deepen it when you give examples such as crowning with thorns and not only what it looked like but what it felt like.

Well, I lost that last message. Today I used4 of your prayer videos which really help me stay focused since I live with a brain after 2 TBI's. I have been so grateful for your prayers for several years now. With my brain injuries staying focused is hard so I am able to go into meditative prayer with them. Thank you isn't sufficient.
