These two softwares have gained huge popularity and that has resulted in a huge debate on should you learn Canva or Adobe? So in this video I'm going to compare Canva to Adobe Illustrator for a direct comparison. Adobe Illustrator is the most popular graphic design software today but will a simpler program be just as good for half the cost? Some might ask can Canva replace Adobe or is Canva as good as Adobe Illustrator? Comparing them side by side, I am going to design the same thing in Canva and Adobe Illustrator, putting them to the test in the ultimate graphic design challenge.

You could replicate your Ai GoPro design in Canva Pro with only a few minor differences. The upload tool is great!

Wouldn't the $14 Canva membership a closer direct comparison? As you said, you can't get Illustrator for free.

I get why Canva is the least popular choice, but I think with a pro account, you would get a much more accurate representation of what it can do. I never use the suggested templates and end up uploading my own images

I would push for Adobe. I will get the non designers to use adobe express because they need adobe acrobat for PDF and the design team to have adobe creative so everyone is in the same ecosystem.
