After the show I downloaded the full size samples from the Tamron 28-75 and wow I'm impressed! Those images have stunning quality. Now my old Tamron 24-70 is officially for sale (I'll miss it as it's a wonderful lens) and this new 28-75 is going to take it's place. I'l keep the MC-11 though as my Sigma 20mm F1.4 still needs it.

David love your live chats a couple of questions. first I shot mostly street stuff and some arch. landscapes. I like to capture people in quiet moments sometimes in low light in churches so i need a silent shutter. which is the best camera for this? and do i really need the fast cards the sd ll or will the sd l do? for my landscape work with a a7riii is there much difference in the resolution between the 16-34 f.4 -f2.8?

After having a camera capable of shooting awesome video in 4k, i realized how little i need it and how unimportant it is to me and my photography. So the a7siii doesn't interest me...unless... How is it priced? Whats the MP count? Is this color science affecting the video side only? Makes me a bit nervous now bc its like do i wait or just pick up the a7iii when i can finally get my hands on one?

Thank you again for just over an hour of good information, and now a little suggestion to you, what about a video with why it does not have to be G-Master lenses to get good pictures if you can agree with me this?
I think lately there have been many pixelpeepers who only talk about the most expensive lenses as the only way to go!

I'm filming at night alot out in the wilds so the better the ISO the better the video. Still would prefer a great A6700 to a great A7Siii. If the A7Siii has a 16 MP sensor and had a super 35 mode then it be interesting but expensive.

Clients not wanting 4k is probably more a geocentric issue for us aussies. We can barely watch netflix at 720p so in many instances a client might not want something that they can't stream or play easily... Whereas let's say it's south korea or japan, I reckon that they have the infrastructure to support every day 4k. My underlying assumption is that net connection speeds would also drive the TV, camera, recorder and monitor 4k uptake.

A7riii Sync Speed disappointment!?
What flash sync speed is this camera supposed to be at? Shot with it in the studio today and only managed 200/1 with ProFoto D1's, and that has left a grey shadow down the side of each frame. Tried 250/1 but it wasn't having it?? This is disappointing! Is there a setting that I've missed??
