Waiting for surgery isn't something new since the pandemic started. My mum waited 2 years for spinal surgery, and this was in 2014

Just waited two years to see a surgeon, was supposed to have an appointment next week April 21st, just been cancelled and rebooked for March 22! that's some backlog.

I've been waiting 18 months just to see a consultant for a broken hip joint. Had one last April which was cancelled. Still waiting. I expect until at least September.

Yes im waiting for back fusion and my mobility is effected and waited a year already and suffering with mental health problems and that never talked about and covid has made it worse before I know it I won't be able to walk and lose my independence I have already been told my mobility will be effected and already is and already on crutches how long will it be before I'm in a wheelchair....
