in NMIXX qualifying Lily & Haewon sang Destiny Child's song even when they were trainees they both sang Naomi Scott - Speechless, Lily & Haewon have also been paired to sing a song at a wedding, the two of them were often paired together.
You can tell indirectly that JYPE hinted that Lily & Haewon were the main vocalists of NMIXX.

Yes Lily is really outstanding! She sings like she just talks! it sounds so natural with her rich tone you could rarely find in Kpop idols and that's why she is my favorite vocalist of the whole Kpop! I know other girls are good too especially Haewon and Sullyoon but sometimes I feel like they're forcing their voice too much to keep up with Lily

NMIXX are JYPE’s first girl group full of members that can ALL sing and hold their own. Even the two rappers can sing really well but their position is rapping.
Haewon and Lily are both main vocalists of NMIXX and they are really good singers! Although of course they have their own strengths in how they sing.
