Dear Roland,
Why not give the option of buying? The subscription is the only reason I'm not interested in getting it. I would consider buying it, if it were an option.

Not just VST Instruments, please add Roland VST Effects too, recreate the RE-201 Space Echo, BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, SDE-2000 Digital Delay, DEP-5 Effects Processor, SEQ-331 Equalizer, and vintage BOSS Stompboxes too!

The problem with this bundle is the pricing and the obvious advantage the most expensive bundle has. I think Arturia do a good job with the V collection. Basically creating new versions every year or two and if you want the new synths you need to upgrade.

Hope the subscription thing doesn't become a trend

I own Omnisphere 2.5, Keyscape, and Trillion from Spectrasonics and I spent around $1500 for all three VSTs. These are some of the most amazing sounds in the world. Most people can't afford (or don't see the value) to drop that much money on sounds. Theoretically speaking, if you were to rent these 3 VSTs at $19 a month it would take you over 6 years before you exceeded the $1500 amount. Considering that they let you keep one instrument a year for free, I'd say this is a solid deal for a musician on a budget. Just think about what you were doing 6 years ago and what you'll be doing 6 years from now. I say it's better to lease for a small fee, make your music, and have the freedom to constantly change with the times considering music styles changes so quickly and so often. That's just my personal opinion but I know a lot of people don't like the idea of renting and would much rather own.

I just bought the Roland Jupiter X and could not be happier. All the great sounds with no mouse and looking at a laptop. The cloud could be helpful for additional sound or purchasing expansion sounds at Roland's web site to add to the keyboard.

I own the Korg collection and like it a lot. I can use any instrument anytime and need not fear a time when money might be tight and payments not available to Roland. I go through periods when I would not use this collection and hate the thought of paying for something I am not using. I use Cubase and Final Cut Pro because I don’t like subscriptions. I bought my Boris Effects. Yes, I’m making payments to Microsoft for Office and Xbox Ultimate, but my entire family uses them daily.

I suppose I’m resigned to use Roland sounds and features in what I get through my Arturia Collection, my Integra 7 and whatever emulations Behringer cranks out (and they’re making some great inexpensive copies).

Roland, look at all the people who posted here, who said they would purchase your softsynths outright, if they were offered. Add me to that growing list.

Awesome but I do not like the subscription idea I would like to buy a few products

I like it so far. I'm going through a Roland phase right now, so I'm looking to use the instruments in my current project. I'll just subscribe when I need access. Same with Reason+. If I want to make some Reason songs for a project, I'll just subscribe for a month. I could buy these, but it could be many months between use, so in a way the subscription works out. But I would always want the option to buy outright if I want to.

Not worth it if after renting you get to keep 2 but STILL have to be connected to the cloud to use it. And at any moment they can pull the plugin/discontinue it ss states in they policy as (as long as it's still available) 😑

I just want a Juno 106 plug-out for my System-1. I wish I could just buy that.

I signed up at NAMM last week and I already love it, hundreds and hundreds of useful patches. Beautiful orchestral strings and gorgeous pianos for us songwriters.

The rental idea is why I've stopped using Adobe products. It may make sense to business owners but really doesn't make sense to private musicians. Most of the stuff we want like the Jupiter 8 are at the highest subscription level (above pro)...which really doesn't make sense.

A great set of plugins. Now, could you see your way to allowing us to specify where these enormous libraries are stored?

Dear Roland, please give a choice for your's fans, subscription or buying. For example - i need only one d-50 for use, i don't won't other plugins, why i need pay 20$ to mounth. See to other big corporation, slate digital give a choice subscription or buy, it's
profitably for YOU, buy not for your's FANS. Please give a choice for your's fans. Love you ROLAND!

Dang the Jupiter 8 sounded sweet... Had this for a while but cannot devote the needed disk space, would turn it on again for a legendary only version, perhaps. Ended up owning System 8 and they threw in any extra, was actually hard to choose. Sounds are very spot on for what it's worth.

Why don’t you guys at Roland bring this to iOS? I will certainly pay a monthly fee for this.

Very nice & useful video:...Roland VST replicas of original sinths are OK but there's a thing I don't understand: if you want to buy and download one of these from Roland Cloud, you are required to make (and pay) a annual subscription???

Regarding the subscription concerns: There is a huge plus to this model; no more buying an entire suite of great tools, just to find out a month later that there is a brand new version with updates you really want...always chasing that "latest and greatest" version. You always have the latest version. Graphics folks are already used to this, as Adobe has moved to this model as well.
