Yes. A friend of mine that skates at a local indoor rink, fully polished wood floor, rolls in Seba FR1, 2010 model, stock Seba 80mm/85A wheels, and ceramic BONES bearings. It's completely doable.

As with most inline skates, they are produce at D width, but for Seba skates, those models that have separate liners, such as the FRX, FR1, GTS, High and Carbon models, will generally fit better for wider sizes.

Wider opening up top with the liner. A lot easier to get on and off which was an issue on the older model. A bit more comfortable with this liner.

I have not. I'll have to look into it. There's a Seba FR-A setup for aggressive skating. The FRM may be a Europe release that the USA distributor didn't bring over. USA doesn't bring over all models, but only those they think they can move.

Yes.. A good choice for both. Thanks for the post!

It will serve great for jumping and so forth. The 80mm will be more maneuverable than the 84mm as well. Quicker, but not as fast over longer stretches of course. If wanting to do grinding tricks you would need a different/aggressive frames to slide on. Otherwise, slalom and freestyle you are fine. Thanks

I cannot post links on youtube, but you can find specs on the FR1 on our site so please visit that for info on this skate and others from Seba. Thank you !

For the most part, it depends on what you want to use them for and, realistically, it depends on how good you are, too.

If I straight up bought a pair of FR1-Deluxe 1 year ago when I first started skating, I wouldn't have been able to appreciate how good they really are. Even after 1 year of frequent practice, I don't think I've reached a point where my Twister80s are what's holding me back - I've got a lot more work to do on my own performance, first.

So invest realistically.

The GTX80 is a unibody mold with a non-removable liner, and therefore would provide better response and power transfer.

If you can afford the FR1, it's the best SLALOM skate out of three. Right out of the box, the FR1 boasts the best specs with titalium freeride bearings and 85A wheels. The others come with 7-rate bearings, which are significantly crappier.

I own a Twister80 upgraded to ILQ-9 bearings and soon-to-have Seba's wheels, but after all of these ugprades, I spent enough to buy a FR1-Deluxe which would completely outclass my upgraded Twister80.

That being said, I have NO complaints with my Twister80.

At this time, we are still waiting for the FR2s to arrive for a full review, but our information says that you CANNOT mount UFS aggressive frames.

Hello! Thanks for the video :)

I got these amazing skates a couple of years ago but haven't used them as much as I'd like to.
I wanna start using them as they deserve, but also customize them. Though, seeking for custom sets, I've read somewhere that this specific FRX80 has a little trouble when changing the cuffs; lemme paste the text:

" *Do these fit the FRX80 skates as well?*
Yes they will but please be aware that to take the cuffs off your FRX skates you will have to drill the rivets out (they are non replaceable cuff rivets)."

Is that true?

Hope you can help. Thank you!

I want to get skates for jumping and doing some tricks, I know the FR1 is designed for that and its very durable, but I don't know how will this model responde on jumping, I'm between this one and the Fusion 84 from rollerblade since the X3 is really bad from what I've read
