Too much choice and too many 'categories' of skates can be overwhelming when you just want to buy an inline skate for general skating (recreational and leisure skating both outdoors or indoors).

Here's the most popular rollerblade for people who want to get skating but are overwhelmed by the unnecessary amount of choice. You're welcome.

Locoskates has the largest (most unnecessary?) range of skates in the UK.

Yes! Couldn't agree more. Folks just want something out of the box that works and works well. It can be so overwhelming with how many options there are out on the market. Thanks for this guys!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for this content. So informative, thorough, and well put together. Watching your videos encouraged me to buy some skates after 20 years away from skating. Thanks

The FRX was my first skate and I loved it! I have more skates now but I still use the rockered frame and the velcro strap on my FR1s. You can't go wrong with them. I still skate them too because they're still the most comfy skate I own. Also the FR laces are the best.

I got the fr3 and put a bont speed frame with 110mm light up wheels on them and I couldn’t be happier! So I would agree that FR is definitely worth it, I’m pleased with my purchase, love ‘em!

100% agree with comments about FR FRX. Bought a pair of FRX80 during COVID and a year later FRX310. They are so comfortable and responsive. I've skated over 1000kms in both pairs and the liner shows no sign of wearing out. It has packed down ever so slightly. You need to go up at least one full size in the FRX. My foot measures 280mm and 295 is a nice fit. Suggest replacing the stock laces with waxed ones and consider the model up with ratchet ankle buckle over the velcro strap. I bent the D ring on the velcro strap trying for a tight fit.

I’m a beginner and just got a pair of Rollerblade RB Cruiser size 12, two days ago. I have wide feet. The Cruiser fits me well, very comfortable. The shoelace locking system is very sturdy. Cons: the boots are a bit heavy. I recommend this roller skate.

I started skating again 6 weeks ago after a 20 year break. I bought a pair of FRX80s and am very happy with them!

If you’re a wheel addict like me you need multiple setups, my quiver: Seba High Light 4x84, Rollerblade Twister Endless 4x90 and Powerslide Kaze 3x110

Thanks for this. I played hockey for years and still occasionally skate my hockey roller skates but I could really use something more comfortable to be able to skate longer.

8+ years ago i got my frx. Was seba back then.

After upgrading the 45 velcro to a rachet its been doing me well since.

Id love to upgrade to endless but just isnt possible at the moment. Think ill be going for different wheels next and some new bearings. 8 years is a bit long. 😅

You seriously cant beat the money per product.

I’m somewhat of an intermediate rollerblader. My first skates were Twister Edge XT and honestly they were a terrible fit for my feet. I think it’s the shape and not the size, I had to stop after 30+ minutes of rollerblading because of either pain or numbness in my entire feet. After 2 years I decided to sell the twister and I bought the FRX80 minty. The FRX80 actually fit my feet shape better.

I’ve thought about in-line skating since playing sonic adventure 2 battle as a little boy. Now that I’m 22 and have seen this video….it’s better now than never. I just wish I made the choice sooner.

One thing to consider with a riveted frame skate like the PS Zoom: I know someone who got a pair that had a misaligned frame, so each skate's frame was positioned at a different angle. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect, but if you don't want to mess around with returns in the case of that happening, go for something with an adjustable frame.

Also, I think they may have ordered from Amazon or something, so this isn't meant to reflect on Loco or any other skate shop - just something to consider!

This was very helpful thank you. Exactly what I needed to finally pull the trigger. Also thanks a lot for the mention of frx running small. I'm 11.5 US so I got the 12s and hoping that means they will fit perfect.
