I really love getting corrected at conference. I aint good at life and introspection. I look forward to the whoopin twice a year. Who else will tell me authoritatively to sit up straight? That I may want to rethink some things? I'm a grown man, my mom is too nice to do that these days. I believe in being better in the ways they tell us we must be. Love of our most kind God first, and true charity for all individuals is absolutely key.

This has really made me rethink how I interact with friends and others. Am I showing God through my actions?

Yeah.... it's fine to criticize church culture. Growing up LDS there are several ideas that are not tied to doctrine that we need to shed. There is good about church culture, but our culture is also tainted by the philosophies of men. Revelation has come about from questions and criticism of how the church ran as organization. This is true both in modern times and anciently. In an organization run by imperfect people, there needs to be dissonant voices to correct the imperfections we may not see.

Also I think the question should be asked "why do people feel the need to post anonymously"? How are we as a people treating those with questions or complaints? Yeah there are the Korihors and the Sherems which we should ignore, there are also the people who are quietly hurt and post criticisms based on their mistreatment. Living with Integrity means we hear these people and make corrections when needed. FAR too often we react with "get over it" or "eyerolls".

Yes! Yes! Yes! This such an important and pertinent topic! While we should be introspecting our lives, we should expect the same from our church leaders. Why haven’t the members worldwide received a public apology in relation to SEC order/fines yet? The matter isn’t closed in the heart of many members! The church gave us an example that being dishonest/lack of integrity is okay and no need to apologise to anyone affected. At the very minimum a letter to all members should be sent, local leaders and church website should have a formal apology posted. and please don’t blame it on lawyers…the lack of integrity of the church leadership was published on news outlets, the good name of the church and its members affected. Please apologise, then instruct us to be honest and stay true to our convents. Follow Jesus’s teachings!❤❤❤ Great talk!! Sorry if I sound critical, l am an active member of the church, but the SEC order still hurts, and i am not unique in my views.

Such an inspiring talk from the former President of the American Petroleum Institute.

This was good since it addresses the difference between the Doctrine of God vs the Doctrine of the new religion of Wokeness.

Hmm, just an observation, Jesus Christ did not fully become God The Son until He had finished his mission that The Father had sent Him to earth for completion.

It is important to know Jesus was incapable of anything, except by permission of God and such was his mission.
