I was a on flight and a young woman came out of the toilet looking so upset that we (crew and I as I’m in wheelchair so they had to push me in the aircraft chair) asked her what was wrong and she mumbled she had come on and was so embarrassed. I reach into my wash bag and pull out on a pad and hand it to her and the relief on her face, she came back out and gave me a massive hug. Being stuck without any protection when you come on is bad, but being stuck in a plane must be awful! Was so glad I could help, I only get a few periods a year and never know when so I always carry lots on me, always good to be able to help someone out too. I know some planes have them in the bathroom, I’ve seen them stored in the drawers under the sink if anyone is ever in a similar scenario

I always carry extra pads tampons and panty liners just incase a friend needs one! As the mom friend I also have a ton of other necessities and I always let new friends know ❤

I’m glad you found one! I’m going on a trip soon and my app says I’m going to have my period during my trip and even on the plane ride back 😭😭😭 i hope it comes right on time bc then i won’t be on my heavy flow on the airplane

Yes Flight Attendants are prepared for stuff like that because I think it was like 2000 a woman had her period on her way to NY to see the Yankees the blood was in her pants she asked the attendant and they said “nope sorry people are supposed to come prepared “ after that she sued the plane for 4M and planes are now supplying for periods and births

Girls definitely help girls with the girlie stuff 😁 I don't have to worry about THIS particular "problem" anymore (thank god! lol), but when I did I use to always carry around a couple of pads in case another girl needed one 🥰 Actually... You've got me thinking about another periods Shorts you did and a lady said she didn't have periods anymore so didn't have anything. So now I'm thinking, maybe I should just buy a small packet and carry 1 with me always IN CASE another girl asks me... 🤷🏻‍♀️
