I love what he said when expressing craftsmanship, thats why I get annoyed when I see negative comments on artworks that may seem to some, like something they could buy from the shop, and totally dismissing the satisfaction one gets from making something with their own hands.

Here in Sweden, in Dalarna County, there are some places / villages called Leksand, Rättvik and Mora, these places if I remember correctly were known for making bridal crowns of human hair, and also other forms of hair art, today there are few who keep the traditions alive

Can somebody please explain why some folks think this is gross? I don't understand what's gross, dirty or wrong with hair art??🤔 99.99% chance the hair was washed & cleaned _before_ it being assembled. So as to not get any natural oils on fabrics or other materials around it or touching it.

I would love to have a purely hair art piece, though I just purchased one that has hair but mostly carpet flowers, it is beautiful though and I also have a watch fob made out of horses hair, I am still looking for a jewelery Memento Mourning but I have yet to aquire a piece of that, though I do have a few hair bits in my house, mine, my Husband who passed away, a lock of random hair my friend found and a small dolls wig made out of 100% human hair.
