There is one account of an individual with a high level of Christ Consciousness that really impresses and motivates me. When the Chinese invaded Tibet, one of the monks they tortured would pray for the soul of the man who was torturing him because he understood all the negative karma he was creating for himself, and would suffer greatly in future incarnations. Praying for your torturer while being tortured, now that's some heavy duty Christ Consciousness. (Perhaps other monks were doing the same thing, but this is the only account I am familiar with.)
