This is a really kind gesture from this guy to build something like this with his own money. Seems like a really great dude! ☺️

The biggest road block to tiny home development is local zoning and building codes adapting to these svelte structures and minimalist lifestyle.

This is truly amazing our government would not off thought of this. Our tax payer dollars is used to line the pockets of thieves. This is what Canadians are pulling together for a better future. Thank You

It's a great idea. I hope they have an on-residence manager to manage any potential trouble makers, but the whole idea is one to be admired...Not everyone homeless is a drug addict, many/most are but some got there from abuse and no fault of their own...

Who said we must live in million dollar sprawling houses? Better to be a part of an intentional community, away from the big city

This is NOT a solution, its a normalizing of extreme poverty and the plummeting quality of life. Of course, the rich stay rich and cozy.

This is really nice, and I would love to see more developments like this project. I believe the biggest stumbling blocks are that in many cities the property taxes raised from these small homes aren't large enough, so they put roadblocks in the way. Added to this are the nimby crowd who, I'm sure, would fight any development like this near their million dollar homes.
