Great content!...entire time my attention was at the crew throwing the sod on the ground which creates an imperfect grade which cause bad gaping and call backs. Like nails on a chalkboard to me. It's the little things fellas!

need to make a lip where old sod and new meet also shoulda removed inch to inch half soil then graded and install the sod to make it flush

I am absolutely confused as to how a single pallet of St. Augustine costs $850 to be laid, and that's after the grade is already prepped. Let's say the material cost is $250 and you charge $60 for handling it, that will leave you with about $540. If your man-hour rate is about $60 (standard), that's implying that the one pallet takes 9 man-hours to lay, even if we were to cut that in half, it would be at 4.5 hours to lay, which is still a lot. I'm all about charging a good rate so we business owners make $300, $500, $1, 000+ in a day (1 crew), but if I could get a breakdown or explanation on how and why $850 is being charged other than, because we know our worth, I would be happy. I understand that the tone of this comment may seem negative, but it is genuinely out of concern and wonder, I love and appreciate your content and look forward to your videos, thank you!
