GIS Apps – Lab 2, Part 1 – Aid to Africa Analysis with Graduated Symbols – ArcGIS Pro

For this lab, we will delve into competing theories of development aid. Some organizations claim aid to developing countries has been largely successful, decreasing child mortality and increasing life expectancy. Other economists point out low GDP growth and fear aid dependencies are slowing economic progress. We will compare the claims in a series of multivariate maps that show graduated symbols of GDP and other indicators over a choropleth of aid per person.
