I’ve been using minoxidil for almost 2 months now. The shedding during the first month was extreme, I thought about giving up. Now it has slowed down, still a few hairs a day, but daily hair shed below 50 per day is normal. I can see small hairs growing back so that’s reassuring. Now the waiting begins

Been using Minoxidil twice a day for 3 weeks now. Have noticed a loooot of shedding in my crown area. My crown area used to be thick and now I can see through the hair to the scalp. When I wash my hair in the shower I get almost 10-20 hairs on my hands. Everyday questioning whether I should quit Minoxidil, but I'm going to trust the process.

Hello bro, I restarted minoxidil after a 3 month break (wanted to quit, have been using it for the beard for 2.5 years and got crazy gains not only on the beard, also on top of my head) I am now about 2 weeks in and shedding is hitting really hard (200-300) hairs a day. My theory is that I do respond very well to minoxidil (high enzyme activity) and that a side effect of that much shedding occurs. What do you think about it? Thanks bro 👊

Hi Alex, I am happy to share that I am seeing many tiny vellus hairs all over temples and hairline, and some thick 1 - 2 cm hairs in small patches. I am on fin 6 months, and minox + micro just 2 months. However, hairline is not nearly recovered and crown still diffuse and visible in light, so I am not out of the woods yet.

Question: once you saw first new hairs, how long to see full recovery? Did it happen fast or very slow over months?? Thank you as always.
