Would this work for a digital camera taking still photos the same way? Could you take the photo with a camera hooked up like you did, and essentially use that to take photos and have them uploaded directly to the computer?

Hi zulf thanks a lot for your great effort. I have a proble, I have a 1080 P Action camera connectedt to Micro HDMI adapater to a HDMI, Video capture card from HDMI to USB, . I removed the SD card. When i started the Action camera, there is no option for PC but it worked once then because of flat baterry, i removed it and charged the Camera, It does not work without the battery. Now it is noit working it just shows these vertical color lines on th my stream yard and nothing on my OBS. I wish i could send screenshots . it seems everything is OK but no picture. Any advice please
