Not surprised with the outcome. That 4wd launch control will shock a ferrari 458! But secretly the focus brings out the inner kid inside us all. :)

4WD & S-Tronic vs 2WD & Manual, no surprises. But i would still take the focus, it so much nicer and it could be even faster with just a few mods.

Der Focus ist mit Serienleistung schneller auf dem Track. Der Pseudo-Allrad bringt dort nur Nachteile mit sich.

The RS3 costs £15, 000 more than the Focus and looks no better than an A3 S Line. For £2000 you can add a Mountune upgrade to give the Focus 400hp. Ford all the way.

Yup but it has no radio :p it's fully stript with a plastic back window.. not a every day car like the rs :)

RS3 is noticable faster if we consider the standing start, but let's take those two cars on the race track and you can judge the results then. I am sure that focus won't be slower on the race track.

You don't have to be a specialist of Renault Sport ^^
Because you confuse the extreme & ultimate version of the previous Megane RS, the Megane 2 RS R26R 230hp which was actually 1 track car homologated for the road, with the current which is so the current best FWD in the world, I'm talking about the Megane 3RS 265hp which has all the comforts of a modern car, including radio LOL, and even many in his version LUXE

Wundert mich nicht, ist doch klar das der Audi mit 40Ps mehr und Allrad im Drag mehr nach vorn geht ;-). Dennoch bleibe ich lieber beim Focus, der doppelte Preis für 40 PS und Allrad lohnt nicht, da lass ich lieber mein RS von Wolf auf Allrad umbauen.
Genau wäre mal interessant den Focus RS von Wolf mit Allrad gegen den Rs3 zu sehen, würde bestimmt anders aussehen. ;-)

My mistake was thinking about the topgear comparison .. do not like the look ... but good performances..

The best in world racing FWD quite simply and better even that several more powerfull & more expensive especially AWD or 4x4
Look at the chrono records of the MEGANE 3 RS Trophy 265hp on the Nurburgring for example and compare... :-)

Sure the ratio Price/Performance is better for the Focus RS
But the limit to increase the power will be the FWD
But I would like to see the Focus RS 350hp in this same run vs this audi 340hp
After sorry but this funny run in an easy right line for easy drivers don't testify of a racing car but just of a GT car made for hightways
A racing car is mesured on real roads with turns or better ON TRACKS
& there the best in this category is not these but ... the Renault Sport Megane 3RS 265-270hp! ^^
