Interesting tyre test, the Michelins won. by a full second... Testing 3 DIFFERENT cars with the SAME tyres or same car with 3 different tyres set would be a lot more meanigfull to choose cars and tyres. Philgood

I purchased the RS because it's likely the last manual driver's car for the USA. I don't want autopilot. I want to drive as much of the car as I can. Plus, the money savings is a great bonus. Every mile is a smile!

Was your driver in the RS focus a non-manual trans driver? The RS Focus has been tested over and over at 4.7 sec 0-62.3 mph (100 kph.)...

The second thing is, The Focus RS, that machine is a master piece by Ford, cant even imagine how good the limited run RS500 would be

I have a Focus RS and it goes 0-62Mph in under 5 sec, they did not launch the car right. Especially with those Sport Cup 2 tires. They stick very well.

For the Audi/Benz you are paying more for a nice interior. They are in a totally different class in terms of interior quality vs the focus. RS is just the ST interior with blue stitching and the ST is bland and unexceptional.

Good review if I had the money I'd buy rs3 so I settled for rs in stealth grey + 90 hp over stock

Put the A45 on cup 2 tyres and it wins round the track. Conti's are not as good as the basic SuperSport's the focus rolls on let alone cup 2's.

Another poor review. The car has Cup tyres on it.... put them all on cups and see the result. Good value for money though, no doubting that.

A lot of hurt feelings here about tires. You test the cars as sold. You don't hear us RS drivers crying about having less horsepower do you? We get it. You're angry that a damn Ford is faster than your luxury German car.
