Mercy Center food pantry serves Independence Day feast

On Thursday, Mercy Center in Asbury Park provided folks in need with the fixings of an Independence Day feast this weekend. The Center’s newly expanded food pantry served more than 700 people, providing items like hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and soda — all the ingredients for a true 4th of July celebration.
