You just have to upgrade the firmware on the steam controller through steam

Lol I have the steam controller connected to the steam dock stationz connecting to my 60in tv. It gives me that old steam machine vibe but ten times better. Playing games on a 4k tv is impressive with the steam deck from the dock ststion.

Steam Deck is Compatible Bluetooth, but the Dongle have better connection.

This only works if you upgrade the firmware on the steam controller which is incredibly difficult to do with the new big picture mode but It can be done, connect to your pc with a wire, not the dongle. And then update the controller when the pop up comes up

That's not right, not with the up to date Steam Controller firmware. B and Steam is switch to Bluetooth mode (from dongle), Y and Steam is Bluetooth pairing mode. A and Steam is switch to dongle mode, X and Steam is dongle pairing.

I KNOW ITS STILL USING BLUETOOTH, but it’s using a proprietary signal of it sorry for the confusion!!!

I just got a steam controller on eBay but no dongle can I still use it with my steam deck? It’s not showing up in the Bluetooth list😅
