I'm looking forward to seeing that rig. It looks awesome. My wife and I are planning to move with in the next 6 months, so I'm holding off on building a rig. But, it will give me some time to see what others have created.

I'm glad you mentioned what those cushions with the elastic straps were as I was about to ask. I need something like that for my Playseat Challenge because the material thins out at the top and the bar hurts the back of my head. Right now I just have a piece or soft styrofoam tied down but it looks really tacky so I'm not sure if I can find something like those cushions on elastic straps which would look so much better. In most stores all I can find are those neck pillows which practically look like a mini toilet seat around your neck but I'd rather have something like those cushions that I can stretch onto the top of the seat.

I always learn something new, to me, about simracing from these. I am looking into the splitter thing after seeing this. My setup is trashy-industrial-techie. LOL Not real pretty, but pretty good and it works. Thanks for the new info. That aluminum square inside channel looking stuff does give me an idea of how to stiffen my setup though.

I got a pretty basic setup as far as mounts go but it works really well. I got a thrustmaster tx with a gte rim and th8a shifter. I'll send you some pictures and video when I get home from work. It's on my chucksta2k6 account not this one. It actually made me faster than having a controller and I've had around 10 world record times in different racing games on Xbox 360.

Awesome setup and very informative channel. I'm curious about your experiences with the Thrustmaster t300. I've been reading about this wheel for some time, but there seem to be many reviews of people having hardware failures with the product. What have been your long term experiences thus far?

Great video. Question about butt kickers. how much sound to those put out. For example, are you able to use the butt kickers with every one is asleep?

7:53 Be careful leaving that headset there. My Logitech G35s (very similar design) fell off the desk yesterday and the right ear cup bust straight off, they're really weak at the swivel point...

Damn, this is sweet! I will copy this rig as best I can for the console experience. Pick up only the items that can enhance my XB1 Forza 6 experience. Darin, if you ever have the time, can you do a video for a *complete console sim rig* ala' your recommendations?

I like your setup!! Two questions about your button boxes - do you use two button boxes the same time, or why have you installed the two button boxes the SRX and DSD? Which box is your favorit?

Sorry for nagging but how about that Next Level Racing full rig review? Really want to hear your opinion on it, got the wheel stand already and wonder if it's worth getting the seat once I have space for it or if I should be aiming at another full cockpit instead.
