The $750 is initial funding for emergency needs. FEMA has additional funding and programs for long term housing or home repair. Damage assessment takes time and FEMA stage resources but are not first responders. So tired of their lies and ignorance!

I wondered why congress is so unwilling to fund FEMA, so I looked up what Project 2025 says about FEMA. The section starts on page 153. They want to gut it by raising thresholds for qualifying for aid and provide a smaller percentage of benefits. They also want to reduce subsidies for flood insurance. He is describing what they plan to do.
