'TRUE LOVE' JACK JONES, GRACE KELLY TRIBUTE (BEST HD QUALITY)

Показать описание
Frank Sinatra called Jack Jones "one of the major singers of our time", Mel Torme called him "the greatest pure singer in the world." And Judy Garland called him "the greatest jazz singer in the world". With these accolades you would think that Jack Jones would be a household name. I think that it was to his misfortune that when he was a young new singer that rock music had taken over. However, he has still had a strong following over the years and is still performing live concerts. "True Love" was written by Cole Porter for the 1956 musical film “High Society” and was introduced by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. It really doesn’t sound like a Porter composition, I think in part because it lacks his usual wit. This version of "True Love" by Jack Jones appears on his compilation album "All The Things You Are". Grace Kelly is forever remembered for her roles in films such as "Dial M For Murder", "Rear Window", "To Catch A Thief" and "High Society". She is equally remembered for her iconic fashion sense as well as her marriage to Prince Rainier III of Monaco. She won a controversial Oscar in 1954 for "The Country Girl" over Judy Garland in "A Star Is Born". Judy was robbed! LOL Enjoy! Thanks For Your Comments.
