I found your channel in May or June of this year as I was searching for Peloton reviews. We had just made the decision to pull our kids from public school so when I saw that you also create homeschool content I subscribed and have been blessed by every video since. Thank you for all you do! I always walk away with feelings of comfort and conviction. It's so great to know I'm not alone yet I enjoy the way you challenge certain mentalities or concepts. Recently on instagram you shared about not glorifying lack of discipline and that hit hard! I ended up watching your homeschooling videos which was super helpful since i decided to homeschool that following year. I love the wrapping paper clues! I use numbers on presents. As I wrap the first present I write a number 1 on the gift tag. The next gift I wrap is number 2 and so on. The order tends to be random. I keep a key of who gets which number. Then on Christmas morning we open in number order. I like it because my girls have a budget for gifts, so they tend to mostly know what they are getting. This keeps the element of surprise and keeps them from guessing what the gift is. We have been doing this for the last couple of years and I love it!
I love the DITL and getting it all done videos. Those are motivating to me. I also enjoy the private group topics a lot as well. Merry Christmas!
