Fast Stegosaurus Taming Guide :: Ark : Survival Evolved Tips and Tricks

In this video I show you how to tame a Stego. They aren't too hard because their AI is kinda dumb. Even in instances where the AI actually works in a way favorable to the Stego, it's still an extraordinarily slow creature. The thing about it that makes it worthy of a guide is the new features added to the Stego during TLC 3.

Stego, if I remember correctly, are the most dumb because of it's brain has the same size as bean considered it's mass body.

The stegos are so cool now with their different plates. The hardened plate mode might be useful for fighting bosses. But their AI is so derpy it’s laughable.

i got my lvl 145 stego tranq'd out with my mantis + club combo, its op for tranquing out something, and also i just realised stegos have different plate modes lmao, its my 200 hours in game and now i find out.

When I was trying to make a stego I made a wooden trap (which was a mistake) but then instead of the stego going into the trap I did cause it wouldn't go in and I needed protection but I still was able to successfully tame it
