I'm a black veteran, served for 6 years, got out and got a job with a defense contractor. I went to school for CompSci and was offered a job at the NSA. I'm so sick of the victim mindset, the victim mentality, the world is out to get me, the government hates me, etc. I kept my nose clean in my childhood. I didn't get good grades, because I was lazy as hell lmao, but even that didn't stop me from accomplishing everything I wanted. My dad was only in my life until I was 10, I grew up with domestic violence. By all accounts, I should be a felon and violent. Instead of doing what I saw, I decided to overcome my environment and succeed. It's all a mindset. It's about wanting more for yourself and working to achieve that. It's not easy, but LIFE in general isn't easy. For some people it may be, but for MOST it isn't.

Now I have a great wife and two kids who are excelling in sports, which is an opportunity I didn't have when I was a kid. Stop the nonsense, keep your nose clean, keep your mind clean, and put in the work.

I'm not even mad at this girl. She's polite, soft spoken, respectful, and open to listening to what others say. She's a good kid. There is NO reason she should feel like she's being held down or oppressed. And yet this toxic ideology has been put into her head, making her think she needs to live in fear of our society when she doesn't.
