at first I was put off by that intro but it was actually the most clever thing I've seen all week.

Basically it's Race Face Cinch from Sram. Sram even uses same 30mm inner diameter bearings plus plastic bushing.

Looks like a pretty sweet design. I love how easy it is to adjust bearing play.

As a bike shop owner... yay! Yet more complication for bottom brackets!

On thing they don't tell you in all these videos is that you may have to use a crank-puller in order to get the pedal arm off. I have to use it every time for my new Trek bike.

So DUB means "Durable Unified Bottombracket" but does it live up to its name? Is it really durable? It is now a time past introduction, so what are the results so far? I did not want to be an early adopter and waited to see how it will work not only in theroy but in the harsh reality.

From my understanding its really a BSA consolidation which is good for retro and forward upgrades.

BSA is for Birmingham Small Arms, not "British standard something"

As a manufacturer of bottom brackets I can't believe that SRAM market this as a unified standard. This is ridiculous. They've picked a non standard spindle size to add to the headache. This is like a train crash.

Great a crank that fits anything with the correct BB. I just hate Sram’s pre load adjuster. Flimsy.

Anyone else getting a ‘Tool Time’ vibe from these Park Tool videos? I’m just waiting to hear: “For this you’ll want to reach for the Binford 6100 Bottom Bracket remover.”

I know I'm late, but the preload adjuster is what gxp needed from the start. Gxp was too reliant on the bottom bracket being the perfect width.

Would be interesting to see how it goes on a BB30 frame. Great idea, one crank and various bb for every frame out there almost.

So what I'm getting from this is that the crankset and spindle are one piece? If so, what is the spindle length? Can't seem to find information on dub spindles. Thanks
