Not a beginner snowboarder here but I've always been scared of not having both feet in the bindings and I'm nervous getting off of a ski lift every single time . Great and helpful video, keep it up!

One thing that I found helpful with one foot snowboarding is to push or lean the unstrapped foot against the side of the binding to maintain some stability.

I appreciate that your videos are bloated with useful info and tips rather than showing yourself doing cool tricks the rest of us can't do yet.

Love your videos. Boarding for 20 yrs. 55yr old female. Not many of us around on the slopes!! Always love your videos to tighten up / refresh technique.

Due to my job, I’ve had the privilege to visit Alpe d’Heuz almost every week this winter. Nearly every conversation between me and my mate starts with “Malcolm Moore said!!” Thanks for all the tips, our boarding has without doubt improved dramatically after watching your videos. Thanks so much!!!

Thanks man. You're not just showing off but showing how to do literally. Your videos helped a lot to me as a skateboarder who was having trouble as a beginner snowboarder. Cheers.

You are such a good teacher, i've sent this to some beginner mates who are starting up. Chairlifts are brutal when you first start.

He makes it look so easy. I love the drill with the lose binding on the back foot. I will be trying this my next trip to the mountains.

Hi Malcolm, i started Snowboarding 4 weeks ago and went snowboarding every weekend since for 1 day. So basically 4 days total since. On Saturday I could drive on St. Anton the pist Nr. 1 which is complete red. I was so proud. Your videos helped me getting better tremendously. Thank you so much, wish you all the best.

You are by far the best at breaking everything down. Could of used this video yesterday when the chairlift landing was a steep hill lol. I managed but not well. (A few falls) 😂. Going to practice more front foot weight and back to knee steering. Thank you again for your awesomeness!!! 🏂

Step ons help a lot can click in while getting off lift. But I think it’s a great lesson as always Malcolm when I started snowboarding I practiced taking beginner runs with 1 foot. It was quite funny but it helped a lot. Peace brother

Thanks again for a great video!
I've learned so much about snowboarding, and progressed so much just this season than all my past 5 or so seasons combined. All thanks to your detailed explanations and breakdowns.

Was stuck in counter-rotating hell for the longest time and didn't what I was doing wrong the whole time while bombing down blue runs previously.

Still got a long ways to go, but I'm only able to start this journey of improvement in my snowboarding thanks to you.

So again, thank you Malcolm!

Video idea: how to start stomping small hops/Ollie's from complete beginning. Would love to see your detailed explanation on sticking the landing itself esp!

I should really practice this. When I first started learning to snowboard, I fell over while practicing J turns and my leg got twisted. I ended up limping around for a few days. Since then I have been strapping both feet in even when I really didn't need to. I need to get over the fear and start practicing this.

Thanks for the great video as always. 👍

Hello, love watching your videos. I’m a beginner and I’ve always scared of getting off the lift. In fact, I’m allowed to hold the board with my hand to get off the chairlift, then I always rely on that and not practise to ride with one foot. After watching your video, I have more confidence and will try to use one foot to ride in this morning. Appreciate that, thanks a lot! ❤

You are so inspiring mate! You got the cool and positive attitude, i sometimes look at your videos just to relax (and for your lovely british accent). I hope i get to Alpes d'Huez some day to learn some stuff and correct my riding posture someday ;) Cheers, keep up the nice work

Just tore the MCL slightly three days back avoiding random skiers whom suddenly veered into my path while getting off the chairlift. Big mistake made was using my back leg to stop the board instead of making a j turn. Great video.

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to film this tutorial - it's super helpful. I'm actually going to the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead today so can put into practice everything I just watched.
