Correct me if I am wrong but this is extruding hot directly to the roll? So how to maintain the feed rate and extrusion to prevent the diameter of the filament from swinging wildly. Also how do you insure against air bubbles or mixed plastic?

Looked into this more, the blades used to shred the plastic looks just like my ninja blender, which don't do a good job, you really need a shredder type of mechanism to get the plastic bits into shredded pieces.

i'm in the "would like to get one of those" list.. i'm interested on how are you handling posible dirt on the intake material. i have been that can be a real problem for many people trying to recicle filament.

this is something i wanted to make :) how much will it cost ? Super interested because i have mountains of 3d prints i want to convert to filament
