So these motorcycle gloves are about $10 on ebay right now. I crashed in them a few months ago and here is the result.

I've been riding motorcycle for a while now but complacency has reared it's ugly head and I had a low speed crash on a CBR600RR. I was wearing these gloves at the time, they are at the very cheap end of the market for gloves and I had been dubious abotu the quality of them or what protectiont hey might provide. The proof is in the pudding.

Im going to buy sth like these for cycling in late fall & early winter.

i would rather have cheap gloves that are completely ruined after a crash ( but saved my hands ) than putting a bunch of scratches on 150 dollar gloves....

The plasticpad in the hand is not supposed to be textured. The material in the palm is not supposed to tear so easily, and absolutely not supposed to be woven fabric. The sales site is supposed to list the materials. And gloves are not supposed to be disposed of after one small slide.
