Thank you so much to all of you at the Institute and the commentators. There is such a drought of constructive information on this conflict so it is truly refreshing to be informed by such wonderful contributors.

Fight On!

thank you -- honest, hard, painful discussion but another illustration of why USC Institute of Armenian Studies is so important.

This 'conflict' is very simple. The land belongs to Azerbaijan but Armenia occupies it.
Azerbaijan is fighting to get it back.
It's very simple. But people tie themselves in knots of lies

Solution : International peace keeping forces move to Karabakh at least for the next 5 years .... Armenian army move back to Armenia ... displaced and expelled Azerbaijanis return to their lands .... Karabakh region gets complete independence, which they will run their own affairs and preserve their own culture and identity under the protection of international community.

Nobody had to die but I guess hubris is just worth a thousand lives, The United Nations does not support Armenian occupation and colonization of Azerbaijans Sovereign territory, but no said Armenia. May God rest the souls of those on both Sides.
