In Conversation with JP Sears 🤣

I recently had the pleasure of having a conversation with my hilarious friend JP Sears. I have been a fan of JP’s work for years now. I absolutely love the way he uses humor to lighten up the seriousness we sometimes feel on the spiritual journey. In our recent conversation I was impressed by how sensitive, intuitive, sweet, and insightful he is as well.

We discussed how humor can sometimes be used as a way to hide our true feelings, and how sarcasm is often used to cause pain (as a way of relieving our own pain). We also discussed the power of humor to heal and transform shadow into light. We have received so much positive feedback about this conversation, that I knew I had to share it here with you.

OMG... you two together!!! I'd never thought of that being possible... but that's just hilariously awesome!!! JP is such a great person, I love his humor and oh my, I so can relate to the funny videos he makes... sometimes I'm a bit confused about HOW MUCH I get him. :')He makes me feel less alone in this spiritual crazy journey I'm on since childhood.
I only discovered Anita recently... and I really love her and her work so much. Everything she says makes sense and I love how much down to earth she is...
with that being said: they actually do make great conversational partners.

In the people pleasing issue, I recently watched Dawn by Rose McGowan and it disturbed me because I realized how much I had prevented myself from speaking up against abuse because I didn't want to be impolite. When someone is abusing someone else, its not always clear - strange things happen and you want to question it, but I didn't because I didn't want to be awkward or impolite or cause a scene, and yet if I had done that I may have helped this person when they needed it most and that is what upsets me so much. All I can do is speak up because being impolite is not a crime. We shouldn't be so concerned with being disliked when our intentions are good and true.
