what happens if client does not use the ACV check and returns check to insurance company? Does that mean that the roof is insuranced and a reinspection and an other ACV check issued?

Hey man...dealing with this currently. H/O has code upgrade coverage but carrier provided a lump line item estimate. Despite multiple requests by me through insured, they won't provide a detailed line item breakdown. I'm curious if they are applying the RPS factor to all code upgrades etc...I read her policy, and it looks as if they are not supposed to apply it to code upgrades but I'm unable to see where they are applying the RPS etc. RCV is at $32k, and they are only giving her like $8, 000. I'd bet half of the RCV amount is either labor or Code related so I'm going to put a monster supplement together to forcectheir hand to deal with details etc... Tough claim and I'm trying to play chess here 🤔
