Forbes Advisor looked at crime rates, health, chances of a natural disaster, and several other measures to rank 60 of the world’s biggest cities in its study.

so these white cities are much safer than Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou? i guess it's done by white ppl who never set foot in China. Hong Kong is no way #13, it's much safer than in Sydney and you don't see junkies doing needles on the streets unlike in Toronto..

Tokyo is really safe. One time I arrived from a flight in midnight. I settled in the hotel & went for a walk around the neighbourhood to get myself sleepy. I walked in the streets of Tokyo at around 3 A.M. There were absolutely no one around me and yet I don't feel a single fear. There were kouban (police boxes) here & there, with 1 or 2 police patrol cars around so it helps.

Japan has low crimes but is prone to earthquakes and Tsunamis. How do they decide which criteria weigh what precisely. Sounds like an arbitrary ranking as in the case of all the other rankings.

You can see a group of police officers walking on shopping malls and Trains

Even on roads there will be police car driving around the city

I wouldn't be surprised if Forbes cannot differentiate Manila City from Metro Manila.

Surat, Indore, Chennai, Gangtok, Navi Mumbai, are also some of the safest cities from India and should have been on the list. Do they not know India is in Asia too ?

Where is busan? Its a large city and much safer than seoul. I have lived here for a year and its definitely better.
