It’s the irony that after watching Mujin’s video, Robin va was denouncing Sunday va’s actions, almost parallel to ingame because Sunday (va) believes he’s doing the right thing while Robin (va) disagrees.

While Sunday’s VA is legally innocent and didn’t do anything explicitly wrong to be ousted from multiple projects for having an opinion, it’s important to acknowledge that even though Hoyo seems addicted to it, most companies and developers HATE controversy.

Sunday’s VA went out of his way to join the discussion and doubled down on an unpopular perspective both times. That alone could get someone sacked, especially on a topic this serious.

Did he deserve to be harassed? No.
Did he deserve to be criticised? Yes.
Did he deserve to be fired? It’s up to whatever the hirer thinks, and in this case the hirers didn’t wanna be associated with him.

I'll be honest I genuinely wanted to have the opinion that he MIGHT'VE changed but I obviously have no clue and I still had doubts especially if he was abusive/toxic for over a decade. But his last statement about him believing his actions weren't criminal just because he wasn't convicted or charged is a bit wild and makes me think that he didn't change. I only feel bad Sunday's VA.

I would’ve feel bad for Sunday’s VA if he didn’t know about the situation but he doubled down on expressing his support despite being literally told what Chris did, these are just the consequences of his actions.

EDIT: There’s also the fact his victims reported to never getting an apology for what he has done to them, so the fact Chris claims he has changed/wanted to change when he hasn’t bothered to even apologize for the people he deeply hurt and his letter shows to me he doesn’t care.

Well I mean the one who took the biggest L was Sunday's VA. I mean I get he was just trying to support his friend, but with all the hate Niosi was getting, I dont think it was worth losing roles no matter how close you are. Kinda curious who they gonna hire now. I mean I do wanna know at least what Moze was gonna sound like, but I guess we'll never know

The sad part is is that nothing's been made better here. People lost their livelihoods, victims had to recount their trauma, and there will continue to be people that commit heinous acts whether they're in a lucrative position or not.

I think people confliate legal and moral as the same thing.

He is right, he never did anything criminal because he was never procecuted by the court of law. He was just judged by the court of public opinion as guilty and only guilty.

Meaning his victims were probably told by the DA that it did not meet the merits of criminal activity. If anything it was still civil.

So while technically correct, he was still morally wrong.
