Think I need to pick up one of those boom arms! Looks class.
I have been going even more budget, using an old microphone stand and then using a thread adapter to change it from Mic threading to 1/4 for a camera! But think this is definitely a better option

Did you need to adapt the light boom's threads for the camera? How did you actually affix the camera to the boom?

That's a bummer for me. The boom arm with the circle shaped holder thingy alone is 40 euros in my region. Sh!t is crazy costly here.
