One of the biggest benefits of ETF for those in the US is you can buy them in a Roth IRA . All gains in a Roth are tax free but self custody is taxed as capital gains. Holding both.

For those who are new here I started listening to James around March of 2021. ETFs are easier, but go against the reasons many people started using BTC.

Yes you’re so right. I sold one of my properties a couple of years ago and went into a FIAT transfer mania out of the bank to buy crypto before the bank imposed strict restrictions on transfer to crypto exchange platforms. Phew
