Pastor David discusses the biblical accounts of two disciples, Judas and James the Greater, and then explores the church traditions surrounding the other disciples, drawing insights from both canonical and non-canonical texts. He details how each disciple spread the gospel and ultimately met their martyrdom, emphasizing the consistency of their faith despite facing persecution. The discussion offers a profound reflection on the significance of the disciples' testimony in affirming the validity of Jesus' life and teachings, serving as a source of inspiration for strengthening one's faith.

The last sentence, this strengthens my faith in Christ each day too....wat a great witness they had, that they were all ready to be martyrs for him.. no fear of death when you have Christ's love shed abroad in our hearts.

If Moses is one of the ones that appeared to Jesus in the transfiguration, then we know for sure, that he's in heaven.

John was the only disciple who died from old age. He was the one who wrote the Book of Revelation.

The 12 were going through the cities of Israel (Matthew 10:23), they were only apostles to the house of Israel. Peter only preached the gospel to the Gentiles one time (Acts 10), but immediately withdrew from the Gentiles (Galatians 2:7-12, Acts 11:1-3). In all likelihood, they were killed after Nero gave the order to destroy the temple and Jerusalem on February of AD67. Most likely their bodies was thrown in the valley called “Gehenna” south of Jerusalem by the Roman Soldiers after Nero gave the order. They would not have been given a proper burial at that time.

Paul was the only one who was an apostle to the Gentiles and was a citizen of Rome, Peter was not. Paul also spoke the languages of Rome, Peter did not.

I don’t recommend going by “church traditions”. They have been modified by Eusebius.

Thomas's ministry became fruitful but mixed with the culture of South India. One has to research the old language of that period to know that . Remember, .there was no Bible at the time.

They all stayed in Jerusalem waiting for Jesus. Only Paul ventured out. Peter never went anywhere till decades a later just before his death.
