It's been months since I asked people to subscribe in my videos and that might have been a big mistake, so please, SUBSCRIBE if you like what I do! It helps more than you know! ❤

Definitely check out Kiss from a Rose, their latest release. It's completely insane. Matt, the bass, is the newest member, but he has been in the band since 2017, so he doesn't really qualify as new at this point. He replaced Avi. Left to right, Matt, Kirstin, Scott, Mitch, and Kevin. All but Matt are original members. Great reaction!

Kevin, last on the right side is the beatboxer, sometimes he sings and yes he also plays the cello, while beatboxing (called celloboxing 😊)

Thanks so much for reacting to my favorite band - PTX - Matt the bass is the only new member but has been with them since 2017-

Saw Pentatonix on August08/2023 in Toronto and they were absolutely amazing. Each one of them had their own song and shared time with audiences. We had 3rd floors and we did not go home unimpressed. They were amazing and I’d do it again if they came back. I truly believe that they were shocked at how many people were there. Every one was singing the songs with them and they couldn’t hide their emotions on that. Toronto loves Pentatonix.

Great breakdown. If you plan to react to more Pentatonix, I'm here for it. They have a new album out. It is a "greatest holiday hits" album, but the last 8 songs are new releases. My faves are "Please, Santa, Please", "Kiss From a Rose" (I know...a Christmas song? It had the word "snows" in it, and that qualified it to be a Christmas song to them), and "O Holy NIght", which is an upgrade of an upgrade. They sang this years ago, but the new version is EPIC. I just subbed.

Matt, the bass, joined Pentatonix in 2017 when Avi left the group.
Kevin is the beatboxer and plays the cello and sings.
You have got to react to A KISS FROM A ROSE. Absolutely stunning!!!💕

Beatboxer is Kevin, who also plays the cello. Matt Sallee is the newest member. He's the bass.

Great reaction. You might like their versions of Oh Come All Ye Faithful, The Prayer, Amazing Grace, Mad World, Imagine, Bohemian Rhapsody, Daft Punk, Carol Of The Bells, Problem, New Rules x Are You That Somebody, Little Drummer Boy. Originals like Sing, Love Again, Water, Can’t Sleep Love, Coffee in Bed, Please Santa Please, Be My Eyes and Happy Now are fantastic.
Their most recent amazing cover is Kiss of the Rose. I love the VEVO live version as I don’t believe they have released an official studio version video. They are all talented beyond belief.

subbed for more PTX - since we're getting close to Christmas, recommend anything from their Christmas repertoire, but specifically their latest 2 Christmas albums. The one last year, Holidays Around the World was just nominated for their 5th Grammy (they've won 3 to date) and as other have said, the 8 new tracks on this year's album are FIRE!

They will be in concert days before Christmas where I live in Austin. Exciting!!!!

Just came across your reaction. Well done in your reaction. This is such a heartfelt rendition of Sound of Silence!

PTX is definitely the best a capella group out there. Matt Sallee, in the white jacket, is their bass and has been since he replaced Avi Kaplan in 2017. Kevin Olusola is their beatboxer, cellist and tenor. Yes, he sings, doing backing vocals but only when not actively beatboxing. He does occasionally get his "moment" to shine in a few of their songs.
I subb'd some time ago to your channel in the hope that you'd do more PTX and I'm glad to see you finally did feature them again. Their very latest rendition of Seal's Kiss From A Rose is just insane!! You really do need to react to it. The VEVO live version is the best . Also Please Santa Please is a new original of theirs written by Kirstie and Kevin and two other songwriters. All their songs from last year's album ( now up for a Grammy...their 5th nomination) are fire and deserve a reaction.

This IS an awesome arrangement and they are perfect in this version! If you liked this, one of their newest, "Kiss From a Rose" (yes, a cover of Seal) is now out - and it's a LIVE performance - as I'm sure you've been told, all their songs sound identical LIVE in concert - I've been to both their Xmas concert & "regular" summer concert - and every song sound LIVE like it did in the studio version. No auto-tune going on here! <3

Kevin, the beat boxer does sing in Mary Did You Know and plays the Cello in a few songs including Radioactive ft Lindsey Stirling.

The tall blond guy is Scott Hoying-Baritone; the girl is Kirstin Maldonado, Mezzo-Soprano; the guy with the hat is Mitch Grassi, Counter-Tenor; the guy in the white jacket is Matt Sallee, Basso-Profundo; and the Beatboxer is Kevin Olusola, Scott, Kirstin, and Mitch met in a high school in Arlington, TX (between Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX). After graduation they all went to different colleges and majored in music. They got back together to enter a TV singing competition call "Sing-Off." They required 5-person groups, so Keving and Matt came on by referrals. Listen to their version of "Hallelujah."
